It is the nesting time of year. The kids found some adorable baby sparrows in a bush.
These junco eggs are hiding in the flower boxes along the front walk.
Everyone got a turn to spy on the pretty blue robin's eggs in this high nest.
Lots of eager students wanted to see what was inside the tiny chicken egg below. It turned out to just have a small poorly formed yolk, but finding such a tiny egg in the nesting box was a big surprise.
The 7 chickens are giving us 6-7 eggs each day. It is fun to see the differences in sizes and colors amongst the chickens and even in the same chicken from day to day.
Wow that was one small egg!!
